It seems like you just get your tree up and then two months later you have to take it down. Don't judge me.
I spent way too much of the day looking for the Rails to Trails trailhead near me because I thought there might be some good photos with the fall leaves at their peak. I did get one or two pictures but wasted most of the day in my car instead of outside. Maybe tomorrow it's just a walk in the woods.
There is no need to decide to sacrifice yourself, they pop you in the head with their paddle and shout "thanks for the sacrifice sucker. If you should by chance make it downstream we will try again tomorrow"
I have since been told there is a revisionist bent to my storytelling. I'm just not sure.
These three photos were taken a few minutes apart. Once the sun came out the fog was gone. I do love living in the Appalachians.
It only took 50 tries to get this one and it was a surprise when I looked at the photos. Oh, and I was safely hidden under a rock while taking the pictures.
The way the sun highlighted these falls was amazing. I wish I had carried my real camera.
Oh did I mention its raining.
